Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actress from America. Her most well-known role was Skyler on AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and won Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress in Drama Series 2013 and 2014. She has also played Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock in Deadwood. The actress was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in the year 1968, Anna Gunn fell in love with acting in the Preparatory School she attended before her family moved to Ohio in the late 1970's. She studied theatre at Northwestern University, and spent an entire semester at the British American Drama Academy. Anna was working in the theatre in the Chicago area for several years prior to trying her luck in TV as well as film roles. Anna's first major part was Arden as she appeared in Down the Shore. She was in 29 episodes. Anna continued to appear in movies and TV series such as Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and others until late the 1990's. Then she was cast in The Practice as Jean Ward. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood during two complete seasons. Skyler was Her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully is the Deadwood film and other films were also starring her. Gunn appeared in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production directed by David Schwimmer. The year 2022 saw Gunn also participated in an audio-play series known as "Numbered Days". Breaking Bad is often centered on the relationships that Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their conflicted relationship and eventual end resembles the end of Walter White's life.
