Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation on television. De La Garza is a stunning actress born in the year 1976, in Columbus Ohio to a Mexican American father and an Irish American mom. In the next few years, she relocated to Texas. She began a career in physical therapy. De La Garza didn't last for long in Texas and moved into Orlando Florida where she experienced various acting roles including local independent films and international commercials. Despite having small roles, she rapidly realized the passion she had for acting. Following her move to New York, in 2001 she landed her first role as an actor on All My Children. Through the first half of 2000 she had small parts on JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. Her first major series appearance was on the short-lived 2004 drama The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano as well as a variety of the best TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi, and Mitch Pilegge. Her most memorable role came in 2006 on Law & Order where she appeared as A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was on screen for 85 episodes. In the course of a limited run, her character migrated over to Law & Order: LA. De La Garza's character received several nominations which included Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She also received ALMA Award nods. She won an Impact Award in 2008 for her performance that stood out on an intense television show from National Hispanic Media Coalition. In the next few days, De La Garza was cast in CSI Miami in a recurring part. She played Marisol Deko, as well as wife to David Caruso's character Horatio.
